COPPER FLOTATION

Eriez Flotation is the leading supplier of with over 170 installations worldwide. Our commercial columns are up to 6 metres in diameter, and are being used in most of the world's largest copper concentrators. Our range of sparging technologies allow us to choose the right sparging technology for your application. We have also developed the HydroFloat®, which is now being evaluated for selectively floating coarse copper sulfides, which is creating a paradigm shift about how much grinding energy is required for base metal concentrators.

Our rotary slurry splitter (RSP) is also used in a number of copper applications such as Vale's Sossego (pictured to the right) to evenly and accurately split slurry feed between a number of parallel columns.

Copper 2019 - Newcrests Industry First Application of Eriez HydroFloat Technology for Copper Recovery

Originally presented at Copper 2019. In the face of declining copper head grades and a tightening regulatory environment around the use of wet tailings dams, the processing of copper ores at coarser particle sizes has become a focal point for the industry.
